The production of CYA is achieved through the process of hydrolysis, wherein it is extracted from crude or waste melamine. This process entails crystallization and subsequent filtration steps, resulting in the isolation of the pure cyanuric acid compound. Additionally, byproducts generated in the production facilities responsible for these materials may contain cyanuric acid, alongside dissolved amino-substituted triazines, namely ammeline, ammelide, and melamine.
